3.2.9.1. 2,0 l engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

Sign of wear of sealing laying of cores of valves (maslootrazhatelny caps) – a high consumption of oil. Caps can be removed also at the established head of the block of cylinders. At the same time the lever pusher with a support, for example, of Mercedes-601 589 025 900, 111 589, 186 100 and 111 589 3000 (a magnetic pusher) is necessary. If there is no such special tool, it is necessary to sort a head of the block of cylinders.

After dismantling of a head and at a big run surely replace maslootrazhatelny caps.


Prevention

If details of control of valves are used again, they need to be established on former places. That not to mix them, we recommend to provide the panel for storage.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Sort a natyazhitel of a chain.
2. Remove the camshaft.
3. Take a dish-shaped pusher by means of a rubber siphon (diameter of 30 mm), for example, of HAZET 735-2. Do not apply a magnetic siphon: at the same time the surface of sliding of a dish-shaped pusher is magnetized, and on it the smallest metal shaving is laid that promotes damage of dish-shaped pushers and cams. The siphon can be made independently, having used a sucker and a wall hook.

Prevention

Before extraction of a pusher carefully clear its surface.

At compression of a spring of the valve the corresponding piston has to be in the provision of VMT of ignition. As at removal of the camshaft the cylinder 1 is installed in ignition VMT, it is expedient to begin with removal of valvate springs of the cylinder 1.


4. Screw a basic crossing point for a lever pusher on a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Push out by means of a lever pusher of a plate of springs of inlet and final valves of the cylinder 1 down. The cylinder 1 is in front on the party of a chain of management, the cylinder 4 is behind on the party of a flywheel.
6. Take by means of tweezers or a magnet crackers (202).
7. Slowly unclench a valvate spring (198).
8. Remove a plate springs (201) and a spring. (203) dish-shaped pushers, (197) lower plates of valvate springs.
9. In repair shop for engines with a big run it is possible to check force of valvate springs.
10. Remove the second valvate spring of the cylinder 1.
11. Take Maslootrazhatelny caps (199-200) by means of a special grip, for example, of HAZET 791-6.
Prevention

Try not to damage at the same time a core of the valve and a guide of the valve.


12. Remove agnails from bore of a core of the valve.
Prevention

Replace the pressed crackers of the valve and a plate of a spring. At the dismantled valvate springs, plates of springs and crackers it is impossible to rotate the engine since valves lean on pistons and can fall in the cylinder.



Installation

Maslootrazhatelny cap of the inlet valve (199)

The facet (arrow) is displaced.
Internal diameter of d = 7,3 mm.

The facet (arrow) is slanted.
Internal diameter of d = 8,2 mm.
Wire ring galvanized, yellow color.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Oil new maslootrazhatelny caps and by means of an assembly mandrel, for example, of HAZET 2577, establish on a core.
Prevention

Do not mix caps for final and inlet valves.


2. Establish valvate springs from below according to their coloring.
3. Put on plates of springs of valves and pressure them from below, enter crackers into the corresponding flutes on cores of valves.
4. Install the following piston in ignition VMT and replace maslootrazhatelny caps for what turn the engine on 1/2 turns for the central bolt of a belt pulley of a bent shaft until the notch designating 180 ° is established under the index on a case. Thus, the piston of the third cylinder is in ignition VMT (an operating procedure of cylinders 1-3-4-2). Then half way in the provision of VMT of ignition pistons 4 and 2 are installed by the corresponding turn.
Prevention

At rotation of the engine raise the operating chain that it was not involved inside. In a workshop the special supporting wheel for a chain of management is for this purpose used.

5. Establish dish-shaped pushers and the camshaft.
6. Install the chain tension device.
