3.2.15. Head of the block of cylinders and motor block

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Check a head of the block of cylinders / the motor block for a deflection in length and width by means of a ruler and a set of templates. On all length the deflection should not exceed 0,08 mm. On all width of a deflection should not be.

3. Check planeness of a head of the block of cylinders also on the top sealing surface to a cover of a head of the block of cylinders. The tolerance has to make no more than 0,1 mm.
Prevention

If on a partition between the entrance and output valve lungs of scratches are found, then in replacement of a head of the block of cylinders there is no need. If the surface of a head of the block of cylinders, especially the surface of division of combustion chambers, uneven, deformed or has small damages like рисок, scratches etc., – the damaged surfaces grind that. It does not belong to a sealing surface of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.


4. 2,0 l engine: the general height of a head of the block of cylinders makes N = 142,9–143,1 mm.
After grinding height of a head of the block of cylinders has to be not less than A N = 142,2 mm.
Height of microroughnesses of a sealing surface should not be more than 0,004 mm. At distance from the end of a core of the valve to the surface of the bearing of the H1 camshaft = 20,4–21,4 mm it is possible to use this valve further. At H1 = 21,4–21,97 mm should be established the new valve 106,4 mm long. At H1 = 19,5–20,3 mm can be established the repaired valve 105,5 mm long.
After possible grinding of a surface of the motor block pay attention to the maximum size of a ledge of the piston which has to be 0,74–0,96 mm. At a ledge of 0,96-1,16 mm establish thicker sealing laying of a head of the block of cylinders (1,85 mm).
In the ground head of the block of cylinders before its installation it is necessary to check lag of the valve (a) and a ledge of the precamera. Precamera ledge: 7,6–8,1 mm.
5. Check phases of gas distribution of the engine.
6. Establish a head of the block of cylinders.
